I chase hurricanes, typhoons, erupting volcanoes and massive snow storms and bring you along for the ride!
Taiwan’s Typhoon Fury - 130mph Winds And 5ft Of Rain
It packed major hurricane winds that lashed Taiwan for hours and dumped over 1500mm of rain (that's almost 5ft) in the mountains. This was my first cat 3+ to shoot in HD(V) and it left me in awe of the raw power and brutality of a major tropical cyclone. Strap in and let's head deep into the core of 2008's typhoon Sinlaku.

Earth Uncut TV: Face To Face With Nature's Worst

Earth Uncut TV: Face To Face With Nature's Worst
also known in the Philippines as super typhoon 'juan' one of the most powerful storm in northern luzon 🌀
Our province was supposed to be a direct hit with this typhoon but it shifted it's path a few days before. Regardless, we felt how strong it was. The sky clearing up all of a sudden to it turning dark and gray and the wind picking up again. It was terrifying. I had co-worker who lived in Tacloban and survived this typhoon. She mentioned there dead bodies everywhere and the smell was unbearable.
And if you are fishing, this is the best spot!
2nd strongest typhoon of 2007 following sepat 🌀
This storm is still one of the strongest up to this day and its surreal how strong the storm is on its time.
They called RIP for a reason.
Never knew what a rip current actually was, but I am black and it IS the ocean so....thanks
Some folks have a real keen sense of the obvious, and some do not. Trouble is, we don't know which folks we is until we was.
I don't see it.
Why the storm is not normal, because the evils inter the world for there's need to through over. ✨✨✨🙂😞
Most of us have been in one, we kinda don’t know it tho because they were little rif currents
Thank you for sharing this. Very informative.
Today is the birthday of my grandma who died there, the black out caused the heart monitor to stop working and the IV placed on her. The hospital was under staffed and she died next day morning Nov 8, she would have been 97 today. she was born in 1927.
She collapsed a week ago before she died from vertigo and was in the hospital for almost a week, about 5 or 6 days iirc,
I wonder how many times I saw this without knowing what I was looking at?
Why are you rushing to be in a hurricane? Adrenaline junkies or looking for monetization content? I'm in Jamaica watching Beryl coming my way right now. It won't be exciting, it won't be fun - it will just be a total pain in the a**.
I do it because I find it interesting and also because 100,000s of people find my work useful. I've also lived in tropical cyclone prone coastline for the last 18 years so know exactly what it's like to have a storm bearing down on my home. Stay safe during Beryl!
@@EarthUncutTV Sure. We'll just forget about the monetization. With all due respect, it's much like being a vulture. Each to their own.
@@JamaicaWhiteMan we’ll agree to disagree. All the best with Beryl, I hope the disruption is minimal
@@EarthUncutTV Cool, thanks.
Gojira! Gojira! ...
Great footage!
Ocean girl all my life.. we have a rule NEVER BE OVER YOUR HEAD IN THE OCEAN.. waist high is it.. knees if it is rough!! And watch out for each other and those around you.. ESPECIALLY KIDS WHO AREE ALLOWED IN WOTHOUT ANY ADULT!! What is wrong with these parents?!
Parting of the waters means RIP CURRENT!
Using one of those iPad size phones huh? Pretty cool. Glad yall are ok
Not only you guys document the typhoon in glorious detail showing the sheer power and destruction, but also helped those people you guys are angel's ❤ -From the Philippines
Thank you so much for the kind words - it means a lot
Dangerous yes , but also great surf fishing spot around that outflow. The deeper , moving current is patrolled by gamefish feeding on baitfish caught in the stream. Study the beach for events like this for greater success. Tight lines.
I saw a beautiful reef shark cruising through that deep fast moving stuff!
But what about those nasty man eating Aussie Sharks mate? That's not a churning...my razor teeth ate you in the churning
Too short! Great stuff. Been to Taiwan several times. Just a surreal place in so many ways.
Thanks for watching! I’ll be uploading some more Taiwan typhoon videos over the coming months. I didn’t have much footage to work with for this one
Don't think you're strong enough to resist. If you get carried out, don't panic. Eventually it will pull you far out enough to escape the rip tide and swim back in. It could be a long way. Even a few miles. But it won't kill you if you float on your back and gently tread water. Don't panic!
It is my understanding 100yards (NOT A FEW MILES) is the furthest a rip will take you out
@@jimconant3784 What I meant is that once you're out of rip tide vertically, you may have to swim far horizontally to the shore in order to swim back in safely.
01:50 - also the large difference between sustained windspeed and gusts indicating the power of the system ...
That’s also due to the JMA using a ten minute average for sustained wind versus the 1 minute average that the Americans use
Cyclone remal destroyed a..... Country
As a local from cebu this was the strongest tyohoon i have seen in my entire life
Awesome content as always James. Hope you continue this style with more.
That’s the plan! Next up typhoon Saola, then Haikui then Koinu (all from last year) then probably some fresh storms to edit. Thanks for watching
😰😖😣😩😫
poor dogs 3:17
They were fine and rode out the storm safely
@@EarthUncutTV good to know, stay ssafe mate!
superb, love the retrospective format - hope there'll be many more to come
Thanks so much! Actually there will be, I’m going through my whole collection and picking out the interesting events, keeping the edits a little simpler so they’re not such hard work, and will fling them up here
I remember this, at that time watching news about hot spring hotels damaging in 廬山 (Lu Shan) (7:57) yet, we found out it was not truly rainy until aug. 2009..
I know right, the events of 2009 were insane and tragic. A really rough couple of years for Taiwan.
Damn clever trap😮 it’s finished
Thank you for this information. Heading to Hawaii next month glad I was able to see such a great example
Enjoy your trip and stay safe
I barely survived that typhoon I got serious injuries for now I'm okay
I’m sorry to hear you had such an awful experience but I hope time has healed the mental and physical trauma
Welcome to Philippines🇵🇭
So this footage was all the way back in 2013?
Correct - released (again) on the 10th anniversary
My friend's husband drowned in a RIP few years ago at Virginia beach even though. He was a good swimmer. 😢
I was in Gilbert, Cat 5, 1988, Emily, Cat 4, 2005, Isadora, Elena and so on, now I live up in the mountains, it is aweful to ride those storms 👀 I know the feeling😢
This is one of the most clearest shots of all, totally showing sheer amount of power and destruction of this typhoon nature is just beautiful and yet terrifying at the same time, you guys are one of the bravest for documenting this.
THANKS FOR INFORMING US.KEEP EDUCATING
the image at the start of the video was Hurricane Daniel of 2006
I remembered that day when typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines. It was truly terrifying watching everything unfold in real time on a TV. I live in Region III Luzon (and still is) when the typhoon was on a rampage. If I remember correctly, the storm also reached us there and classes were suspended. It kept raining nonstop for a few days which was cozy ngl. But still, when the carnage was over, seeing the buildings in Tacloban gone reduced to rubble and bodies scattered around, it was disheartening and depressing. Rest in peace to the victims of typhoon Haiyan.
i was just 1 year old when this happened but i still can describe the scary sounds i heard.
Finally… a clear example… thanks
